I fell in love with photography ever since I discovered a camera that could "make a background blurry" - that's it! 8 years and over 200 sessions later, you all have supported me in building a business and community that means the world to me. With the opportunities you all have given me, I have only fallen deeper in love with capturing your memories. I am constantly growing, and I wouldn't be able to without the consistent support of my clients (and dear friends) who allow these moments come to life.

Work
I work as a full time Data Product Manager for a market research company. Photography is my side job, but my absolute biggest passion - my dream to go full time!
PLAY
I am definitely the type of person that has too many hobbies to keep up with, but I love to travel (I see you out-of-staters), and I have a goal to visit all 50 states. I'm over halfway there! I've only been to 6 countries, so working on growing that number too.

- Pickles are my favorite food (I am one of those weirdos that drinks pickle juice)
- I was published in a photography book in 2017
- I love to crochet, read, and bake. People joke that I am an 80-year-old woman stuck in the body of a 25-year-old! Accurate.

soft earth tones + natural memories
Location matters. Inland east coast means lots of greens and browns with some pops of color. My editing style is curated towards this environment, and I thrive in places where we can make earth tones pop. Not only will you look natural, but so will your surroundings.
Editing style is important, and should be considered when choosing your photographer - everybody has their preferences! You can expect warm images where earth tones and natural colors are preserved. I lean towards natural, soft lighting with lots of nature and greenery.

Being photographed can be intimidating - trust me, I understand! I approach every session differently depending on how my clients are feeling. I will always help pose and give prompts in order to get the most natural moments. I have a candid style, so expect to be moving around to avoid ending up with stiff poses. Just remember: you never have to do anything you aren't comfortable with. I am flexible, laid-back, and will help in any way I can to give you the most authentic results.

how will i access my images?
Final images will be delivered via a password protected shared link. Wedding galleries will be available for 6 months, and all other sessions will be available for 2 months. It is expected that you download and store your images prior to that expiration date - you'll receive a reminder!
what is your typical turnaround time?
Weddings are guaranteed to be delivered within 6 weeks, and all other sessions are guaranteed to be delivered within 4 weeks. That being said, my typical turnaround time for weddings is about 2 weeks and other sessions about 1 week at the moment. Situations are dependent on number of images along with circumstances in my own professional and personal schedule at that time.
do you travel?
Yes, yes, 100x yes. I already have one destination wedding under my belt and it was AMAZING. If the location is drivable, there may be a small fee that applies. Otherwise, i.e. for out of state, please inquire and we can create a custom package specific to your needs. Of course, this is dependent on availability just as any other session.
what if i need to reschedule?
Please give me as much notice as possible. I'm always happy to work around conflicts - life happens. A rescheduled date can be negotiated but will be dependent on my availability. Especially for those in the Maryland area, it can be difficult to get a rescheduled date immediately because of my limited time there.
what should i wear to my session?
Picking outfits can be difficult, especially when there are multiple people to coordinate. I have an outfit guide that is curated to my editing style and preferred location types. I can share this document upon booking and highly recommend taking a look!
how does payment work?
Typically, payment is due by the time of the session. For weddings, a 25% deposit is required to book the date on my calendar. Otherwise, I do not require deposits at this time. Payments plans are an option upon request as well!
